Hirota Glass

Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899.

One of the oldest glass manufacturers in Tokyo. Glass manufacturing that was introduced from Europe in the modern era fused with Japanese aesthetics, giving rise to unique Japanese designs.

Hirota Glass continues to create products that harmonize with modern interiors, inheriting traditional handicrafts such as Edo Kiriko and blown glass, based on valuable design materials that have been handed down to the company since its founding.

Nostalgic design with solid feeling

A glass with a profound feeling and glittering pattern that brings out the gorgeousness of sake and drinks.

It is a large size that can hold rock ice.

It features a richly expressive hexagonal basket pattern design reminiscent of Edo Kiriko, and when light hits the glass, the pattern shines and reflects, and you can enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the projected shadow.

It has a heavy and comfortable feeling and a moderate thickness that is very soft to the touch, and you can enjoy a luxurious feeling when you pour whiskey or brandy into a glass with rock ice.

The overall thick finish makes it an attractive glass that can be handled without hesitation in everyday life.

Retro coloring

Available in two colors: a simple and easy-to-use colorless transparent clear color and an ancient color with a warm amber tint.

Ancient colors are special shades created to create a retro feel.

This is because, in the past, it was not possible to make highly transparent glass due to limitations in refining technology.

Against this background, in order to bring the atmosphere of the glass of the good old days closer, we have created a unique shade of ancient color by blending minerals.

It has a calm and nostalgic color that is easy to match with Japanese tableware
