Asahido has made ceramics in Kyoto for over a hundred and fifty years, in the Kyo and Kiyomizu ware tradition, and is known for delicate hand-painting. The listing names the cat theme in the title and otherwise carries its standard Asahido page; the material line says porcelain, and handmade pieces vary slightly in size, colour and pattern.
Microwave safe, and hand washing is preferred for the painted design.
