This is a ceramic sake pitcher by the Japanese ceramic artist Yoshiko Naragino, the pouring vessel that goes beside her sake cups on the table.

Naragino works from flowers, plants and organic forms, and the listing describes her layered glazes and sculptural shapes as ceramics that sit between art and function. This piece is from the Sarasa Hoshi Meguri-mon series, where flowers bloom across the surface under vibrant overglaze enamels with gold accents. The maker says each piece is individually formed and hand-painted, that no two are the same, and that the hand-applied gold catches the light.

The listing is clear about care: hand wash only, and not safe for the microwave.

Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
