This is a Hatsukokoro Kurokaze Deba 150mm, a double-bevel deba for breaking down fish at home. The listing's spec table gives the build plainly: a Hitachi Blue 2 carbon core at HRC61 to HRC63 under soft iron cladding in a kurouchi finish, an octagonal wenge handle with a black ferrule, a 156mm edge and 269g of weight.
The listing is blunt about use: no bone hacking and no frozen food, since Japanese knives are brittle. Wash with a neutral detergent after use and wipe it dry, keep it out of the dishwasher to protect the wood handle, oil the carbon blade before long storage, and sharpen it on a waterstone rather than a honing rod.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
