This is a Hoshisan Seisakusho fish scaler, a professional scaler from the Sanjo tool workshops.
The head is stainless steel with a titanium dioxide coating treatment, and the handle is natural beech wood. The whole length runs two hundred and twenty millimetres, a proper working size for anything slippery on the board.
The listing gives no care line, so hand wash is safest, and the wooden handle will thank you for a quick dry.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
