This is an Ikenaga grill pan with a natural wood handle, a ridged cast iron pan for steaks and anything that wants sear marks.
The pan is cast iron, the handle is wood, and the ridges do the work: lift the meat off the fat, lay down the marks, and let the pan's heat mass hold temperature when a cold steak hits it. It fits induction and stove cooking both.
The source is plain about care: not microwave safe, not dishwasher safe, hand wash only.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
