This is a Kagami whisky glass cut with bamboo leaves over a chrysanthemum-mesh ground.

The chrysanthemum-mesh cut, kiku-tsunagi, is one of the more demanding repeats in Edo Kiriko, since the flower shapes have to link edge to edge without a gap; here a run of bamboo-leaf facets sits over the top of it. It's a larger glass than most on our shelf, built with a heavier pour in mind.

Kagami is the Tokyo crystal house that forms its own blanks before anyone cuts them, and it is the maker most of our Edo Kiriko shelf starts with. Pour whisky over ice; there's enough weight in the base that it won't slide on a bar counter.

Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.

Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
