This is a King combo waterstone, one stone with a one thousand grit face for medium sharpening and a six thousand grit face for finishing. The listing pitches it for a one-stone setup or a beginner getting into serious hand sharpening.
It is relatively soft compared with ceramic-based stones, which the listing notes makes it more forgiving and gives a more even haze finish on wide-bevel blades, and says King stones remain the most used stones for many professional sharpeners working on high carbon knives and tools. This is the wider version at thirty-four millimetres thick, easier to use than the narrower variant.
Soak before use, then rinse and let the stone air dry fully afterwards.
