This is a Kousaido square glass incense holder in grey, a low three-centimetre square made to hold one stick of incense while it burns.
The listing gives it as glass, three centimetres long and three wide and one centimetre tall, made in Japan, one holder to the pack.
Light the tip of the stick, blow the flame out so the ember smoulders, and set the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, never left burning unattended.
