This is a Kutani-ware rabbit sake cup, a small hand-painted cup the listing's tags also point at as a dip or condiment dish.
The About section places Kutani ware in Kutani, now part of Kaga in Ishikawa Prefecture, from the seventeenth century, known for vibrant overglaze enamels in the five-colour gosai-de style. Each cup is handmade with slight differences, and it arrives in a Kutani ware paper gift box.
The listing says it is microwave safe, with hand washing advised to keep it going.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
