This is a Mino-ware Sendan Tokusa deep plate at ramen size: thousand fine tokusa lines running in concentric rings from the centre, with a warm brown rim framing the pattern.
The listing describes the lines as applied by traditional technique from the center outward, like ripples in still water, and the generous diameter makes it a ramen bowl first, noodle soups and pasta close behind.
The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
