This is a Mino ware gift set: two roughly carved ceramic plates and a pair of natural wood chopsticks, sized for the everyday meal rather than the display shelf.
The plates are carved with a rough, textured surface that reads handmade, and the set comes in a Mino ware paper gift box, which is the usual answer for a housewarming when one plate alone looks like an afterthought.
The maker says the set is dishwasher and microwave safe.
