This is a Mino-ware teacup with a sky blue gradient glaze, layered from pale sky at the top to deeper blue below.
The listing says each cup is hand-thrown in Gifu Prefecture, part of the Mino district, and the glaze pools along the curves so tone and shine vary piece to piece. At two hundred and thirty millilitres and seven point two centimetres across it is a daily tea cup. The listing warns photos can differ slightly from the real glaze.
