This is a Naniwa LC13 combination waterstone, one stone with a one thousand grit face for edge restoration and reshaping on dull blades, and a three thousand grit face that refines and smooths the edge and takes the burr off.
The listing describes the compact two-sided format as a way to cover medium sharpening and fine honing on a single stone, and notes occasional flattening is recommended to keep both faces even.
Rinse and let the stone air dry fully after use, and store it only once it is dry through.
