This is a box of Nippon Kodo Cho-Cho-San assorted incense cones, four scents in the one pack, with a mini ceramic holder included.
The listing names the four: sandalwood in greenish brown, cherry in red, kyara in purple and pine in green, nine cones of each scent, thirty-six cones in all, with a burn time of about ten minutes a cone. The maker is Nippon Kodo, the Tokyo incense house whose craft runs back more than four hundred years.
To burn a cone, set it in the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts: light the tip, let it catch, then blow the flame out so the ember smoulders, and never leave it burning unattended.
