This is a Yamashita Craft teacup in the Ofukai style, a soft green celadon glaze crackled across the surface, at one hundred and seventy millilitres.
The listing explains the name: ofukai refers to a historic celadon glaze style from the Edo period, prized for a pale, misty green and a calm, rustic character, the crackle formed naturally in firing. The shape flares slightly for a comfortable sip, which suits sencha.
Microwave safe; hand washing is recommended.
