About Oribe ware
Oribe ware (Oribe-yaki) is a style of Japanese pottery that originated in the late 16th to early 17th century during the Momoyama period. It is named after Furuta Oribe, a tea master and disciple of Sen no Rikyū, known for his unconventional and expressive aesthetics.
