This is a Rinzen whisky glass cut with the Hyaku, hundred-trees, pattern.
Rinzen's own pattern names lean pictorial; this is the Hyaku, hundred-trees, design, cut into crystal.
Rinzen is a newer Tokyo glass house built to keep Edo Kiriko moving, pairing the old cutting technique with brighter colour and looser, more modern shapes. It's built for whisky, and the deep cuts show up best with a proper pour rather than a splash.
Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
