This is a Satsuma Kiriko whisky glass, cut with a flowing-flame pattern that fades from colour into clear.
The flowing-flame cut runs in deep, curved lines up the glass, denser near the rim and thinning out toward the base. Look into the rim and the lines still read as flame rising, the colour strongest right where the cutting is busiest.
This is Satsuma Kiriko, cut in Kagoshima rather than Tokyo. The colour skin is left thick enough that a cut fades softly into the clear underneath instead of stopping in a hard line, the gradation called bokashi. It's a heavy glass built for whisky, on the rocks or with water.
Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.
