This is a Shigaraki fruit plate in brown, a roughly carved side plate in the Shigaraki tradition with a wabi-sabi edge, sized for fruit, sides and small shares.
This plate is thrown in that tradition: textured, earthy, and meant to look it.
The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
