This is a Suehiro combo waterstone, one thousand grit on the medium-fine face and three thousand on the fine face, the two workhorse stages in one brick.
The listing introduces it as the way into hand sharpening without a frightening price: a ceramic stone that, like the Naniwa and Shapton ceramics, wants five to ten minutes of soaking before use, and works well on the modern hard stainless kitchen steels.
