This is a Tojiki Tonya Kikka Rinka dinner plate in porcelain, the larger plate size of the series, made for a main course or a shared plate at the middle of the table.
The Kikka Rinka series is made in Shimoishi, a ceramic town in Mino, and the listing is careful to say these pieces are porcelain even though they read as warm pottery. The form is the pattern: a petal rim that opens like a chrysanthemum, with no painted decoration on it.
Mino is the pottery district of eastern Gifu, and the name marks where a piece was made rather than how it looks. The maker says each piece is finished by hand, so the petal line varies slightly from plate to plate.
The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
