Tsugaru Vidro is handcrafted glassware from Aomori, Japan, celebrated for its seasonal colors and smooth, organic shapes. Each sake cup and tumbler is individually handblown by skilled artisans, making every piece truly unique.
The name 津軽びいどろ reflects its roots—Tsugaru refers to the region in western Aomori, while vidro (from Portuguese) means glass, a word introduced to Japan in the Edo period. Together, it represents the traditional glassmaking of the Tsugaru area.
