This is the Kokedamarin in its small size, a Yamaguchi Kyujo orin bell set on a soft moss-inspired base, made to sit on a desk, a bedside or a small altar and be struck when the room needs clearing.
The bell is cast copper alloy with a refined marumo finish, paired with a polished brass cup and a striker tipped in natural zelkova wood. The black felt mat under it keeps the tone clean.
Yamaguchi Kyujo was founded in Takaoka, Toyama and has cast bells and chimes for over a century, with a tone built to linger. The set includes the bowl, the striker and the mat, in a paper box, which makes it a quiet gift for someone who values stillness.
The listing gives no care note; a dry wipe is all it asks.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
