This is a Mino-ware blush gradient deep plate with natural speckle: a dawn-toned glaze over a speckled Tochiri surface, made for pasta, stews and composed mains.
The speckling, known as Tochiri, comes from traditional kiln firing, and the listing leans on it honestly: the blush gradient runs soft from rim to centre, and no two plates fire the same way.
The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
