Toa Glass Edo Kiriko Whisky Glass by Satoshi Nabetani - Sunflower 向日葵 (Green)
$580.00
Imported directly from Japan.

This is a Haku whisky glass cut with the kiku-kagome pattern, chrysanthemum linked into a basket-weave lattice, in blue.
Kiku-kagome fuses two older cuts, the linked-chrysanthemum pattern and the hexagonal basket-weave, so the surface reads as small flower shapes set inside a woven lattice. It's a demanding cut to keep even, since both patterns have to land together across a curved glass.
Haku is a Tokyo Edo Kiriko house that favours deep, confident cuts with plenty of colour left standing around them. Pour whisky or anything on the rocks; the glass is heavy enough at the base to sit steady.
Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
