This is a Haku whisky glass cut with the Homura, flame, pattern in blue.

Homura means flame, and the cut earns the name: a fine chrysanthemum-link pattern runs around the top, then the cut opens into large, deep facets lower down that read like flame rising from the base when you look in from above. A wide skin of blue is left standing around the cuts, and the extra weight in the base gives it a settled feel in the hand.

Haku is a Tokyo Edo Kiriko house that favours deep, confident cuts with plenty of colour left standing around them. Pour whisky over ice and the flame cuts catch the light every time you turn the glass.

Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.

Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
