Hirota Glass has worked in Tokyo for well over a century, blending European glass techniques with Japanese traditions such as blown glass and Edo Kiriko cutting. The gold leaf sits in the glass, and the listing notes each cup is handcrafted, so small bubbles and slight variation are part of the making.
