This is a Kutani-ware set of five small bowls, each with a different painted pattern, about thirteen cm across and 5 cm tall.
Kutani ware is a porcelain style from Kutani, now part of Kaga in Ishikawa Prefecture, worked since the 17th century and known for strong overglaze enamels in reds, greens, yellows, blues and purples. The listing notes each bowl is hand-painted, so there are subtle differences between them.
This is a set for the everyday small dishes: snacks, sides, dessert or yogurt, five different patterns so no one claims the same bowl twice. It arrives in a signature Kutani ware paper gift box.
The listing says the microwave is fine and recommends hand washing to keep the painted surface bright.
