IKENAGA Nambu Cast Iron Teapot Pine & Crane 550ml

Imported directly from Japan.

This is a pair of Kutani-ware bowls by the Kokuzougama workshop, painted by hand and sized as lucky-charm cups for tea, snacks and small sides.
Kokuzougama opened at the foot of Mt. Kokuzo in Kutani and is one of the workshops representing modern Kutani ware: hand-thrown, hand-painted, attentive to picture, colour and shape together. Kutani ware comes from Kutani, now part of Kaga in Ishikawa Prefecture, and built its name on strong overglaze enamels: reds, greens, yellows, blues and purples laid over porcelain. The pair arrives in a signature Kutani ware paper gift box.
Hand washing is recommended, and the listing notes these are hand-painted, so the two bowls differ slightly.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
