This is a Tenmoku net pattern bowl, a medium Mino bowl in a deep tenmoku glaze with a net-like surface pattern.
The listing describes the classic tenmoku glaze in deep earthy tones, highlighted by a delicate net-like pattern that gives the surface a rhythmic, textile-like texture. Mino is the pottery district of eastern Gifu, and the name marks where a piece was made rather than how it looks.
At its size it works as an individual rice bowl, a soup bowl or a side serving. The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
