This is a Mino-ware Winter Rust small bowl, a ceramic bowl with a snow-toned glaze, blue vertical lines and a rusty undertone.
The listing describes delicate blue vertical lines echoing the classic tokusa motif over a soft snow-toned glaze, with a subtle rusty undertone through the surface like aged metal, on a gently textured hand-brushed body. Mino is the pottery district of eastern Gifu.
The size suits rice, side dishes, yogurt and seasonal fruit. The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
