Atoma Diamond Stone Flattening Plate Fine (600 Grit)
$159.95
Imported directly from Japan.

This is a Naniwa Chosera waterstone at four hundred grit, the coarse-to-fine ceramic stone sold with a stand and a nagura block. The listing describes this grit as excellent for establishing a new bevel angle or removing chips from the blade.
The Chosera is Naniwa's ceramic stone line, built on a magnesia bonding that packs the abrasive densely and consistently, which the listing credits for a fast cut and long wear. Each stone ships with its own artificial nagura, a small flattening block used to raise a slurry and keep the surface true between lappings. Soaking is optional; the listing suggests no more than fifteen minutes if you soak at all, and a spray bottle to keep the surface wet while you work.
Do not leave the stone standing in water, as the listing warns it will affect the bonding; let it air dry fully and store it only once it is dry through.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
