This is the Ka-Fuh incense gift box from Nippon Kodo, a set of four floral scents: Lotus Flower, Carnation, White Plum and Lavender.
The lotus is a clean powdery floral with a transparent feel, the carnation a calming silky brightness, the white plum an elegant white floral, and the lavender leans herbal, built with plenty of lavender essence. The sticks carry no bamboo core, so they burn with less smoke.
Nippon Kodo is the incense house behind it, founded in Kyoto over four hundred years ago and now based in Tokyo.
Each stick is around fourteen centimetres long and burns for about twenty-five minutes, and the box holds a pack of every scent. No holder comes with it, so burn them in one you already have. There is nothing to wash here; let the ash cool in the holder before emptying it and give the room some air.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
