This is a Hoop Takaku tin flower vase by Nousaku, the tall version of the minimalist hoop, in tin.
The hoop shape is deliberately plain, and the lustrous tin surface throws a soft, warm glow, so it works as a centrepiece with flowers or on its own. It is handcrafted in Takaoka. Nousaku works in the Takaoka copperware tradition of Toyama, a casting craft with roots over four hundred years back.
The listing gives no care note, so a rinse and a dry by hand is safest. It comes in a Nousaku paper gift box.
