This is a Nousaku Lasso Maru tin flower vase, the rounded version of the lasso silhouette.
The lasso loop gives the piece its name and its shape. Pure tin keeps a natural freshness in the water, so flowers last longer, and the vase works as a centrepiece or a standalone object.
It is handmade in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. The listing gives no care note, so a rinse and a dry by hand is safest.
