This is a Suzu Icicle tin flower vase by Nousaku, a cone-shaped vase designed to hang on the wall.
Tin has natural antibacterial properties that help keep the water fresh, so cut flowers last longer in it than in many vessels. The vase is a delicate cone meant to be hung on the wall, a piece of decoration as much as a vase. Nousaku works in the Takaoka copperware tradition of Toyama, a casting craft with roots over four hundred years back.
The listing gives no care note beyond keeping the water fresh, so a rinse and a dry by hand is safest. It comes in a Nousaku paper gift box.
