This is a Southern Wind rustic stripe large bowl, from the Nanpu Collection, a ceramic bowl with hand-painted indigo and brown stripes in a sunray pattern.
The listing describes the sunray stripe work as hand-painted indigo and brown, inspired by the breeze of southern islands, on a wide flared shape that shows food well. Mino is the pottery district of eastern Gifu, and the name marks where a piece was made rather than how it looks.
The size suits rice, noodles and donburi dishes. The maker says it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
