This is a Fukui Craft chopstick rest shaped as a miniature sumo ring, a small ceramic piece that keeps chopstick tips off the table and starts a conversation doing it.
The listing adds a practical trick: attach a magnet to the back and it becomes a fridge magnet. Each rest is individually crafted by hand, so every piece is one of a kind. Made in Japan.
The maker says it is dishwasher safe.
