This is a Yamada whisky glass cut with the Hado, wave-motion, pattern in amber gold.
Hado means wave motion, and the cutting mixes the chrysanthemum-link pattern with the older seigaiha wave motif, laid out loosely rather than in a strict repeat, so no two glasses in a run land quite the same. The colour is an amber gold overlay meant to suggest the sea.
Yamada Glass is one of the Tokyo houses we buy from on every trip, known for putting its own new names on the classic cuts. Pour whisky over ice; there's also a sake-cup version of the same cut if you want the smaller size.
Wash it by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, never a scourer, and give it two rinses so no soap film dulls the cut. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from sudden changes in temperature.
