Hirota glass is a type of Edo kiriko (cut) glass from Japan. The name of their new innovation is called 'Futachoko', which is a glass with a lid. 

Mixing Hirota's traditional pattern with a new pattern designed by a young and energetic female designer. The idea was bringing a new feeling to the world of Hirota glass using the sensitivity of a lady. Futachoko collection is representing the highest techniques, regarding the fact, there is only one craftsman who is able to manufacture! Hirota Glass (廣田硝子)

Founded in Tokyo in 1899, Hirota Glass is one of Japan’s pioneering glassmakers, renowned for blending European techniques with Japanese aesthetics.   • Suitable for cold drinks only.
  • Not microwave-safe and should not be exposed to open flames.
  • Made of non-tempered glass and not heat-resistant.
  • To prevent damage, avoid sudden temperature changes and strong impacts.
  • Glass can be easily scratched, so handle with care and keep it away from other glassware or hard surfaces.
  • Hand wash gently using a soft sponge and mild detergent. For cut surfaces, use a bundle brush for thorough cleaning.
