This is a hardwood saya for a bunka in the standard profile, sized for blades up to 170mm. The listing gives the fit as a blade no taller than 47mm at the heel and no thicker than 4.5mm at the spine.
The sheath is made from two hardwoods to choose from: a light, naturally oily teak that the listing notes deals well with moisture, and a dark African wenge that once fully oxidised is almost black and suits darker handles. A pin is supplied with the saya; you fit the knife, mark the pin hole and drill it yourself.
If you are not sure a knife will fit the sheath, the listing asks you to check with the shop before ordering.
