This is a sharpening angle guide, a small reference jig that holds a set angle against the blade so a beginner can focus on their strokes instead of guessing the pitch. It is offered in three angles, and the listing maps them: twelve degrees for those chasing extreme sharpness, fifteen degrees for most Japanese knives and twenty degrees for tougher work knives.

A slot in the guide takes a rubber band that secures it to the stone during use. The colour varies with the 3D printer filament on hand.

Rinse the guide and let it dry after use.

Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
