This is a pair of twenty-three-centimetre chopsticks combining Kutani pattern work with Wakasa lacquer, the Gourd Pattern design.

The listing explains the collab: Seikogama, a Kutani kiln, put its traditional patterns onto Wakasa lacquered chopsticks from Obama City in Fukui, a lacquer ware known for durability and resistance to water and heat, made natural wood, each pair crafted entirely by a single artisan. The full pattern list runs from crane and plum to sumo wrestlers, and the matching twenty-one-centimetre size sits on a separate listing.

The listing says the lacquer makes them dishwasher safe.

Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
