This is a Fukui Craft chopstick rest in a Kyoto-style round boat shape, a small ceramic rest for chopstick tips between mouthfuls.
The listing draws the design from traditional Kyoto aesthetics and repeats the same practical trick as the sibling rest: glue a magnet to the back and it doubles as a fridge magnet. Each piece is handmade with subtle differences. Made in Japan.
