This is the Matsumoto Splendid Cat, a small figurine of a cat caught in a proud, playful pose.
The listing notes the intricate detail and polished finish, and points it at a living room shelf or a collection line rather than the table. It is sold under the Mino-ware name, the pottery of eastern Gifu, where the kilns make around half of Japan's ceramic tableware.
