Hirota Glass Edo Kiriko Futachoko Glass with Lid - Ichimatsu 市松
$449.00
Imported directly from Japan.

This is a Tenmoku sake cup by Koji Kamada in his Suisei glaze, a deep blue-green kiln-transformation surface that the listing translates as Jade-Blue.
The listing describes Kamada as a Japanese ceramic artist known for mastery of Tenmoku glazes, working with oil-spot patterns and iridescent surfaces from traditional kiln techniques. Suisei is the blue-green end of that work: the glaze runs deep blue-green and comes out unique to each piece through his kiln transformation process. Kyoto is named as the area of origin, and the body is listed as pottery.
The cup arrives in a wooden box. The maker says hand wash only and no microwave.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
