Hirota Glass Edo Kiriko Futachoko Glass with Lid - Ichimatsu 市松
$449.00
Imported directly from Japan.

This is a Tenmoku sake cup by Koji Kamada in his Yohen Yuteki glaze, the standard cup form rather than the flat version of the same glaze.
The listing describes Kamada as a Japanese ceramic artist known for Tenmoku glazes. Yohen Yuteki gets its own paragraph: metallic oil-spot crystals scattered across a deep black surface, the silver and gold spots often ringed with violet, blue or rainbow halos, formed only under precise kiln conditions so each work is one of a kind. Kyoto is named as the area of origin, and the body is listed as pottery.
The cup arrives in a wooden box. The maker says hand wash only and no microwave.
Most of our products are handmade in Japan, and sometimes the one that you receive maybe slightly different to the photo. This is very common and in no way it will affect the performance of the product.
